PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Penn State at the Navy Yard will host "A Celebration of Women Entrepreneurs," a networking event to acknowledge the entrepreneurs who have completed the regional National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) mentorship program.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 13, in Building 661, located at the corner of South 12th St. and Kitty Hawk Ave. at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. Tickets are available online.
Attendees can network with the entrepreneurs and advisers from the ATHENAPowerLink NAWBO Delaware Valley Program, a business mentoring initiative designed to increase the growth and profitability of female-owned businesses.
"Because we share NAWBO’s mission to provide education and support for emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners, we welcome the opportunity to sponsor this event,” said Suzanne Cruit, director of corporate and community relations at Penn State at the Navy Yard.
