The seventh annual Dr. Jane Williams 5K run and 1.5 mile walk had a total of 20 runners and 32 walkers cross the finish line on a warm, humid October morning. The first overall finishers in the 5K run were Chase Waldscmidt from New Castle, Pennsylvania, and Linda Enterline from Jamestown, Pennsylvania. The first overall finishers of the 1.5 mile walk were a mother and son team, Rachel and Vincent Singer from New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. A full list of the results can be found at http://www.smileymiles.com/2018/RES18%20JANE%20WILLIAMS%20MEMORIAL%205K%20AND%201.5%20MILE%20OA.htm.

The annual race, which sports a Penn State vs Ohio State theme to it, also gave special prizes to the "most spirited" participants. The 2018 winners were Carl Sizer of Sharon, Pennsylvania, for Penn State and Ray Watkins from Hubbard, Ohio, for Ohio State.

The campus appreciated all those who sponsored the event, including the following Premier Sponsors:
