Senate confirms two trustee appointments

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Senate confirmed two appointments by Gov. Tom Wolf to Penn State’s Board of Trustees.

Abe Amoros and Terry Pegula were confirmed by the senate on Oct. 17.

Amoros, of Harrisburg, is the Pennsylvania legislative director at the Laborers’ International Union of North America. He received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State in 1990. Amoros also holds a master of governmental administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Pegula, a native of Carbondale, is the owner of the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills and the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres. He received his bachelor of science degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering from Penn State in 1973.
