UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — "Lead the Pride; A Student Leadership Experience” is a dynamic experience designed to take students through the multiple phases of leadership. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about personal leadership styles, how these styles fit into the context of specific involvement experiences, and how to make an impact on the overall involvement community at Penn State.
The event will take place 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Nittany Lion Inn. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 26; spots are limited.
Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities, the event aims to offer students a transformational experience that will help them to enhance their areas of involvement, share best practices, collaborate, and support the next generation of student leaders.
Seasoned as well as emerging leaders are encourage to attend. Attendance is free and includes lunch and a snack break.
Lead The Pride is a student leadership experience designed to help students enhance their leadership skills, and provide them the opportunity to network with other student leaders and contribute to Penn State and the surrounding communities. Lead The Pride is sponsored in collaboration with the Presidential Leadership Academy and Student Engagement Programs.
