Housing Fair to be held Oct. 21 at University Park

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State's Office of Off-Campus Student Support, a unit of Student Affairs, will hold the fall 2018 edition of the Off-Campus Housing Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, in Alumni Hall at the HUB-Robeson Center, University Park.

The Housing Fair is a great resource for any Penn State student who is trying to decide whether to live on the University Park campus or off-campus, or who is planning on moving off-campus into the Centre County community. Students, parents, families and friends will have the opportunity to meet with on-campus housing staff, local landlords, property managers, business, government, and bank representatives in one convenient location.

The Housing Fair is not a place for students to sign leases or feel any pressure to do so. Rather, it is an opportunity to ask questions, find out information and learn more about local options.

For the students who determine that staying on-campus is the best decision for them, representatives from housing can answer questions about the newly upgraded on-campus housing lottery. For those students who determine moving off-campus is the best decision for them, students and their families can schedule tours with landlords and property managers at the fair.
