Penn State Berks to celebrate Turban Day

The Penn State Berks Punjabi Culture Club and the Intercultural Office are hosting a Turban Day from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, in the Multipurpose Room, Perkins Student Center. This event is open to Penn State Berks students, faculty and staff but space is limited. To register, email Serena Schade at by Oct. 8.

The event will include a presentation on Sikhism and the reasons that Sikhs wear turbans, followed by a dinner, a question-and-answer panel, and a turban tying demonstration. The evening will be rounded out by other activities and games and door prizes.
