Abington homecoming, family festival set for Oct. 20

ABINGTON, Pa. — Penn State Abington will host the Alumni Homecoming and Family Festival from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Intramural Field.

Alumni will be able to meet current students and reconnect with friends, faculty and staff who made a difference in their lives. Activities will include:

  • Live music and lawn games.
  • Photos with the Nittany Lion.
  • BBQ lunch with Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream.
  • Campus scavenger hunt.

The Penn State Abington Alumni Society will offer a variety of activities for kids, including pumpkin painting and a bounce house. The Lion Ambassadors will host campus tours, featuring an insider look at the new Lions Gate residence hall.

A $5 general admission ticket includes access to all activities, lunch and Berkey Creamery ice cream. Children under age 12 are free, as are Penn State students with their ID. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

Homecoming will be held in the Athletic Building should there be inclement weather.
