Armstrong’s lecture will focus on her experience with domestic abuse. During the time of her marriage, she was featured on Bravo TV’s show, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Armstrong told her story in the form of a memoir, "Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within."

The lecture is free for all students with a valid Penn State University Park Student Photo ID and is funded by the student-initiated fee.

Tickets are also required for this lecture, which are available for students to pick up starting on Sept. 27 in 226 HUB-Robeson Center or the Gender Equity Office in 204 Boucke. Non-Penn State students can also attend, and tickets for those without a valid Penn State Student Photo ID are available starting on Oct. 8.
