Learning Outcomes Assessment Forum scheduled for Nov. 6

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Office of Planning and Assessment will hold the Learning Outcomes Assessment Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Nittany Lion Inn on Penn State's University Park campus.

Gianina Taylor Baker, assistant director of the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment, will deliver the keynote address, “Digging Deeper: Exploring Strategies to Expand Current Assessment Practices,” from 9 to 10 a.m. Penn State Executive Vice President and Provost Nick Jones also will provide remarks. 

The forum will feature interactive panel sessions where attendees will be able to hear about innovative assessment approaches, including making the most of rubrics and working collaboratively across campuses. Participants also will be able to discuss assessment strategies with colleagues and explore new approaches.
