Penn State alumnus presents lecture, 'How Immigrants Shape(d) the United States'

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Penn State alumnus Nalini Krishnankutty will present a lecture titled “How Immigrants Shape(d) the United States: An Exploration of History,” from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, in the Downsbrough Community Room of Schlow Library, downtown State College.

Krishnankutty, a first-generation immigrant American and a chemical engineer turned writer, researcher and speaker, will discuss the complex history of U.S. immigration, and the profound contributions of individual immigrants.

This free lecture is sponsored by the Centre County Historical Society and Schlow Library.
