Weekend event parking program in place Sept. 13-16

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Transportation Services will implement its weekend event parking program beginning Thursday, Sept. 13, through Sunday, Sept. 16.

All campus parking lots will require display of a valid University Park faculty/staff, resident student or visitor permit from 2 to 4 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 15. All visitors in need of overnight parking on these nights should be directed to purchase a weekend parking permit and park in one of the designated visitor parking areas.

As announced prior to the first event weekend of the fall semester, increased fine amounts will be in place for campus visitors parked in violation of University parking regulations during designated event weekends.
