Postdoc research exhibition to be held Sept. 28 in HUB-Robeson Center

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Penn State Postdoc Society will present the 11th annual Postdoc Research Exhibition from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, in Alumni Hall and Room 129 AB in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park.

Postdocs and research associates from departments across Penn State will present their research in a manner that can be understood by a broad audience.

The exhibition includes a poster session, lightning talk competition, and a panel discussion on career options after postdoctoral training. The 2018 Outstanding Postdoc and Outstanding Postdoc Mentor awards also will be presented.

Faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students and staff are encouraged to attend and see the range of research being conducted at Penn State. The poster session and the awards ceremony are open to all. This event is being held in conjunction with the National Postdoc Appreciation Week celebrations to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery.
