ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona offer scores and results for varsity athletics from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6.

Men’s golf

Tied for fifth place in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational

Sophomore Payton Guelich (Philipsburg, Pennsylvania/Philipsburg-Osceola) shot 77 on the par 72 course at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 1, placing eighth out of 84 individual golfers.

Sophomore goalkeeper Joe Koontz (Everett, Pennsylvania/Everett) has made a team-high 14 saves through the Lions’ first three games of the season.
