UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On Tuesday, Aug. 28, students can find out all they need to know about getting around campus and town — and possibly win some great prizes.

The first ever Student Transportation Fair, hosted by Penn State Transportation Services, will be held on the HUB lawn from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fresh-baked treats from the Penn State Bakery will be on hand for students to enjoy as they learn about campus parking, biking, ride sharing and more.

Students will be given a “passport” to be stamped at each of six tables: Campus Transit, Biking, Student Parking, Zagster Bike Share, Enterprise CarShare/Zimride, and the Bryce Jordan Center. After getting all six stamps, students can hand in their passport for a chance to win vouchers to see Justin Timberlake at the Bryce Jordan Center on Oct. 15.

Other prizes include student commuter parking permits, Zagster Bike Share memberships, Enterprise CarShare memberships, and cookie tins filled with fresh Penn State Bakery cookies.

Each passport is good for one entry, and students who follow Transportation Services on social media will get more chances to win.

The Transportation Fair will also feature information about student employment opportunities with Transportation Services and Penn State’s new interactive campus map.

This event is sponsored by the Bryce Jordan Center, the Penn State Bakery, and Pepsi Co.
