College of Nursing to present 'Lunch and Learn' with Mimi Barash Coppersmith

Seminar is the first event in the 2018–19 Collaborative Seminar Series

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State College of Nursing will present a “lunch and learn” seminar with local businesswoman and Penn State alumna Mimi Barash Coppersmith from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 30. The seminar will take place in 110 Henderson Building (The Bennett Pierce Living Center) on the University Park campus.

Barash Coppersmith will discuss her new memoir, "Eat First, Cry Later: The Life Lessons of a First-Generation College Graduate, Penn State Alumna and Female CEO." A 1954 graduate of Penn State’s College of Communications with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism, she is a consultant for Barash Media in State College. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the seminar.
