Aislynn Moyer, director of ambulatory nursing at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, is being recognized for her contributions to nursing. She is a finalist for the 2018 Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania and was named one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40.

“Aislynn has been an outstanding addition to both nursing leadership and the leadership team with the academic medical group,” said Judy Himes, chief nursing officer. “Her colleagues recognize the many ways she has contributed to standardizing care, role clarifications and advancements of care management for our patients.”

The Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania is a statewide, nonprofit organization created to cultivate and support environments where professional nursing achievements are valued. The finalists were selected for recognition in one of 10 categories and from more than 100 nominations. Moyer is one of three finalists in the Nursing Administration–Executive category.

The organization will honor the finalists and name the winners at the annual Nightingale Awards Gala on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.
