UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Campus Shuttle via Pollock Road introduced last fall by Transportation Services returns on Monday, Aug. 20, with a new name — Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue — and an updated route. The recent closure of a section of Pollock Road required the removal of Campus Shuttle stops near the two parking information kiosks on each end of Pollock Road.

New stops are available at the following locations:

  • Westgate Building (located along Burrowes Road just south of Pollock Road)
  • Elliott Building (located on Burrowes Street in downtown State College)

While the other 14 stops remain unchanged, connecting the new stops and the rest of the route on McKean Road near Redifer Commons requires the shuttle to travel on Beaver Avenue, which inspired the new name. Service to the 16 Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue stops occurs every 35 minutes from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the fall and spring semesters. The Campus Shuttle via College Avenue, which operates year-round, remains unchanged.

For real-time arrival predictions for both shuttle routes, as well as all CATA campus and community service routes, riders can download the TransLoc Rider mobile app or visit psu.transloc.com.
