UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Learn how to create a set of obtainable financial goals during the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center's July financial literacy webinar.

The webinar, set for noon on Tuesday, July 31, will focus on developing clear and realistic goal-setting through the use of SMART, which stands for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely.

Daad Rizk, director of the center, said financial goals must be unambiguous and realistic, have starting and ending points, and be measurable.

“This workshop simplifies the process of setting up SMART financial goals, discusses ways to commit to and achieve your personal financial goals, and helps you create a roadmap to success that will ultimately lead to higher levels of financial security, freedom and literacy,” she said.

Webinars hosted by the center go live every last Tuesday of the month starting at noon. They are accessible to everyone in the Penn State community, and the July 31 webinar can be accessed via Zoom.
