HERSHEY, Pa. — The popular Hershey Bike Share is now available at a new location in downtown Hershey.
A bike station is located on East Chocolate Avenue, in addition to the eight existing locations on or near the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center campus:
- 30 Hope Drive
- Academic Support Building
- University Manor East
- Emergency Department/Cancer Institute lot
- Biomedical Research Building
- University Manor West/University Fitness Center
- Hershey Center for Applied Research
- Cocoa Beanery
Operated in partnership with bike share company Zagster, the program launched on the Hershey campus in 2017. Members can check out one of 40 cruiser bikes by mobile phone. Trips under two hours are free and $3 per hour after that.
Membership in the bike share program is free to all Hershey Medical Center employees and Penn State College of Medicine employees, faculty and students. Guests can purchase a day pass for a one-time fee of $5. Visit the Hershey Bike Share website to join.
