Penn State Lehigh Valley offers certificate for HR professionals

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley will begin its spring professional development offering of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Learning System on Sept. 10. Local professionals have the opportunity to study for a certification exam in human resources. There will be a 30-minute orientation session at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10. Attendees will be provided all course materials and important class information at orientation.

SHRM Learning System is for human resource professionals who wish to learn more about human resource practice, or to certify for the SHRM Certified Professional or SHRM Senior Certified Professional.

Early bird registration is available until Aug. 14 with a cost of $1,319. The registration fee after Aug. 14 is $1,419. The price includes all course materials. Classes will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Monday from Sept. 10 through Dec. 3 at the Center Valley campus, located at 2809 Saucon Valley Road.
