WPSU wins four Telly Awards for outstanding television and video productions

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — WPSU Penn State won four Telly Awards for outstanding television and video productions as the 39th annual awards honored groundbreaking work across all media platforms.

WPSU awards winners are:

  • Category: Non-Broadcast - Education (Bronze winner)
  • Writer/Producer/Director, Kristian Berg; Co-Producer, Cheraine Stanford; Editor, Tyler Henderson
  • “It's On Us” 
  • Category: Non-Broadcast - Education (Bronze winner)
  • Writer/Producer/Director, Lindsey Whissel Fenton; Director of Photography/Editor, Mark Stitzer; Audio Mix, Mickey Klein
  • “Women In Science Profiles”
  • Category: Online - General Education (Bronze winner)

The 2018 Telly Awards, which were established in 1979, received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Entrants are judged by a group of more than 200 experts, including industry leaders from advertising agencies, production companies and major television networks. The award recipients were announced in late May.
