Spring student art show continues through May 4 at Penn State York

The spring student art show sponsored by the Visual Arts Club at Penn State York is on display through May 4 on the mezzanine levels of the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus.  Works by Nicholas Pullo, a student from York, Pennsylvania, are a part of the 25-piece show.  "Off the Wall,"left, and "Drained," right, are on display but not for sale. Credit: Barbara Dennis / Penn StateCreative Commons

The artwork of 11 Penn State York students is featured on the mezzanine levels of the campus’ Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) during the spring art show which continues through May 4. Twenty-five original pieces are displayed in the show.  The exhibit is sponsored by the Penn State York Visual Arts Club.

Fred Haag, associate professor of visual arts at Penn State York, is the adviser to the Visual Arts Club.

Pieces in the exhibition are done in acrylics.  Some works are for sale and range in price from $50 to $200.

Student artists showing their work are Reiten Cheng, China; Yifei Gao, China; Mikayla Kothen, Red Lion, Pennsylvania; Kaylin Mummert, York, Pennsylvania; Nikolina Nonkovic, York, Pennsylvania; Nicholas Pullo, York, Pennsylvania; Isabella Ridolfi, Dallastown, Pennsylvania; Regina Runk, York, Pennsylvania; Barbara Senno, York, Pennsylvania; Corey Sharpe, Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania; and Jordan Wagner, York, Pennsylvania.

Hours for the exhibition are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
