U.S. Department of Education offering on-campus Title IX interviews April 17-18

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — As part of its proactive review of Penn State’s compliance with Title IX, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) will offer office hours on the University Park campus April 17 and 18.

The purpose of these sessions is to gather information to help OCR understand how the University responds to notice of possible sexual violence; whether the University’s response is adequate, reliable and impartial; and any other information relevant to the compliance review.

The office hours are available for any student, employee or other individual affiliated with Penn State who would like to meet one-on-one with OCR staff. Individuals may drop by at any time during the office hours below without an appointment to share information.

The dates, locations and times of the office hours are as follows:

Tuesday, April 17

9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.

322 and 324 HUB-Robeson Center

Wednesday, April 18

2 to 7 p.m.

235 and 330 HUB-Robeson Center
