UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — “We are the World,” an annual event presented by the International Student Council to celebrate the diversity of the Penn State community, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 20, in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park.

The event will bring together dozens of cultural organizations to foster unity and promote awareness of the groups on campus. The event also will showcase Penn State’s rich cultural and artistic diversity, with performances by such groups as RAM Squad, the Chinese Classical Dance Club, the Latino Club (Harrisburg), and K-Pop Music and Dance Club.

The event is free and open to the entire Penn State community. Free food from Yallah Taco, Cozy Thai, Big Bowl, India Pavilion, and Wings Over Happy Valley will be provided.

The International Student Council, also recognized as ISC, is a representative organization of all the international student communities at Penn State. As a voice for international students, ISC addresses issues and concerns of international students to the University. ISC also works to promote cultural understanding through various campus events.
