UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Proposals are still being accepted for the 17th annual Division of Undergraduate Studies Conference scheduled for this October.
DUS is looking for proposals that provide innovative scholarship and practices in the field of academic advising. The proposal deadline has been extended to Monday, April 30, and proposal authors will be notified of decisions by mid-May.

Presentation formats include lecture/discussion, panels and workshops, with proposals due no later than April 30. Multiple submissions are welcome, but each proposal must be submitted separately.
The conference promises a myriad of conversations and thought-provoking presentations led by experts who will guide participants to examine innovative scholarship and practices that contribute to the field of academic advising. The conference is slated for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at University Park.

The Division of Undergraduate Studies, a unit within Penn State Undergraduate Education, is Penn State’s largest unit of enrollment for first-year students.
