Penn State Procurement Services to host Supplier Diversity Trade Fair

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Procurement Services will hold a Supplier Diversity Trade Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.

The fair, to be held on the concourse level of the Bryce Jordan Center, will showcase small, woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. About 40 to 50 suppliers will represent various commodity areas, including furniture, advertising, promotional, scientific, IT, consulting, office supplies, janitorial, staffing, electrical, audio-visual, novelties, HVAC, general contracting, precision machining, food service, and security systems.

Penn State General Stores and Purchasing Services (eBuy) will host booths as well. Suppliers represent four Procurement areas: Centralized Purchasing, Housing and Foods Purchasing, Applied Research Lab Purchasing, and Office of Physical Plant’s Design and Construction.

The event is open to the Penn State community, including all campuses, as well as to the public. Lunch and snacks can be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Center concession stands.

The Campus Shuttle will be running throughout the fair.
