Health Promotion and Wellness to host free wellness activity series

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Health Promotion and Wellness, a unit of Penn State Student Affairs, will host a free wellness activity series for students at University Park from March 22 to April 12.

Each activity in the four-part series is designed to provide helpful tips, techniques and recipes to enhance student nutrition, reduce stress and improve overall health. Students are encouraged to bring a friend and attend as many activities as their schedules allow. No prior registration is required and activities are intended to be fun, interactive and social experiences.

All activities will be held 5–6 p.m. on Thursdays in the newly opened Wellness Suite, 20 Intramural Building.

The full schedule of activities includes:

  • March 22 – Make your own overnight oats and trail mix
  • March 29 – Meditation with the Dharma Lions
  • April 5 – Pilates
  • April 12 – Mask-making

Materials, including food ingredients, necessary to complete each activity will be provided.
