UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Additional student promotions have been announced for the Penn State and No. 8 Ohio State men’s basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 15. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center and Penn State fans are encouraged to wear white on Thursday and to the game to support the Nittany Lions. Gates A, B and C will open at 7 p.m.

Penn State students who attend Thursday’s game are invited to enjoy a free pregame chicken sandwich buffet as well as pretzels and popcorn, while supplies last, in the southeast corner of the arena at event level. The first 600 Penn State students in the student section will receive a free Legion of Blue T-shirt.

Student tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door.

Tickets for the Ohio State game are available at gopsusports.com/tickets/m-baskbl-tickets.html. Fans may also purchase tickets through the mobile experience app and get nine digital vouchers for $99. Vouchers may be used for either the Ohio State or Michigan games or split between both events.

Penn State (18-9, 8-6) and Ohio State (22-5, 13-1) are meeting for the second time in three weeks. On Jan. 25, Tony Carr’s three-pointer at the buzzer lifted the Nittany Lions to an 82-79 win in Columbus. Penn State has won five of its last six games and the Buckeyes have won four straight contests.

Enhanced security measures, which includes required screening of all fans through metal detectors, are in place. Fans are encouraged to permit enough time to park and enter the arena with enough time to enjoy the pregame activities.

Parking in lots near the BJC is $5 cash for basketball games. Penn State employees with university parking passes may park for free in the following areas: Lot 44, Stadium West and Porter North.
