Bridges to Translation IV offers pilot grants

HERSHEY, Pa. — As part of its mission to accelerate discoveries to benefit human health, the Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute will award up to $300,000 in funding for pilot projects through Bridges to Translation IV.

An RFA workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Penn State College of Medicine’s University Conference Center. Please register online by Feb. 6.

Projects funded in Bridges to Translation IV should help build collaborations and work to overcome roadblocks involved in taking research from the laboratory to patients in health care clinics. Special consideration will be given to projects that focus on substance misuse and addiction, health of rural communities and their vulnerable populations, investigator-initiated clinical trials, community engagement for health research, translating research evidence to policy, and new technologies to monitor and deliver health care.

The request for application for the grant is available. Letters of intent are due by March 23.
