Curtis Hill to bring inspirational message to New Kensington

Lecture event is free and open to the public

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — The Penn State New Kensington Office of Student Affairs welcomes Curtis Hill to campus at 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 7 in the Art Gallery.

Growing up in Chicago, Hill said he drifted to a life of crime and violence through gang membership. A task force was put together with the purpose of targeting Hill and his associates. Hill’s life was altered when he witnessed the death of his best friend and realized that he had to make a change.

Hill speaks on college campuses throughout the country to bring his story and inspirational messages to students and community members.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the campus Office of Student Affairs at 724-334-6062.
