Penn State monitoring CVS Health-Aetna proposed merger

Penn State is aware of the merger announcement with CVS Health and Aetna, anticipated to close the second half of 2018.  At this time, the merger has no impact to 2018 health care benefits provided by the University. The University will work closely with both CVS Health and Aetna in the coming months to understand how the merger may impact Penn State’s health care plans, if at all, and will communicate updates to employees, as they become available.
