READING, Pa. — In celebration of International Education Week, Penn State Berks will hold a Diversity Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Lions Den. This event is free and open to Penn State Berks students, faculty and staff.

The Diversity Dinner will feature cuisine from many different countries. The event also includes a fashion show in which international students will model traditional attire from Asian and Latin countries. The evening will be rounded out with a dance performance and students playing the piano and violin. Most of the performers will be international students.

This event is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and International Programs and the Student Government Association.

This fall, Penn State Berks welcomed its largest class of international students: a total of 126. Of that number, 66 are new students. To help these students succeed, the college has implemented a variety of programs and events.
