College sets digital photo course, just in time for holidays

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Do you have plans to receive or give a full-featured digital camera this holiday season? Consider a companion gift certificate to a digital photography class at Penn College.

Instructor Wayne Palmer has been involved with some facet of photography for over 45 years. The owner of Palmer Multimedia Imaging will share his mastery of digital photography with Workforce Development & Continuing Education (WDCE) students from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 18 through Feb. 1.

Let an industry professional explain how to take stunning digital photographs using an advanced single-lens reflex-style digital camera. This hands-on class – "Mastering Your Advanced Digital Camera" – covers understanding the camera's features, using them in hands-on practice and editing photographs to produce extraordinary images.
