'5econd,' the second-year MFA student exhibition, opens in Borland Project Space

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — "5econd," the second-year master of fine arts (MFA) student exhibition, will be on display in the Borland Project Space (125 Borland Building) from Monday, Nov. 6, through Friday, Nov. 17, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13. The exhibition features the work of second-year MFA candidates Ming Feng, Bradley Klem, Holly Veenis, Terry Young and Zexi Zhang.

"5econd" is part of a suite of four exhibitions, to take place across gallery spaces within the Penn State School of Visual Arts, timed to coincide with the accreditation of the school by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. It includes selected works produced during the five artists’ second year of study in the School of Visual Arts MFA program. The students come from various backgrounds and areas of study within the MFA program, including Graphic Design, Ceramics, Photography, Sculpture and New Media.
