Penn State La Vie yearbook honored with 2017 Premier Print Award

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State and Jostens received a 2017 Premier Print Award for outstanding achievement in the production of the 2016 La Vie yearbook. La Vie was honored with a certificate of merit from an elite selection of 300 nominees culled from more than 2,200 entries worldwide. 

“We are so grateful that the 2016 La Vie has been given such recognition,” said Molly McGovern, La Vie business manager. “Year after year, the entire staff works diligently to produce an exceptional commemoration of a year in the life at Penn State. 2016 was no different, and to have our publication receive such an award is an honor.”

The graphic arts industry’s largest and most prestigious international printing competition, the Premier Print Awards recognize the best in printed media.

Since 1889, La Vie has documented the life of Penn State students as Penn State’s official yearbook, offering a history of the University through photos and stories. In its nearly 130-year history, La Vie has received numerous accolades to recognize the outstanding photography, journalism and design work completed by Penn State students.
