HERSHEY, Pa. — Penn State Cancer Institute has received $40,000 from the 11th Annual Play 4 Kay Game of the Lady Lions basketball team.
Sue Woodring, executive director of the Pennsylvania Pink Zone, presented the check to Dr. Ray Hohl, director of the Cancer Institute. The funds will be used to support the Lady Lion Basketball Breast Cancer Research Endowment and the Cancer Genetics Program.
The Cancer Institute is one of six beneficiaries of Pink Zone's annual fundraising efforts.
