UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In the next installment in an ongoing series of Penn State Town Hall meetings, Executive Vice President and Provost Nick Jones and Senior Vice President for Finance and Business David Gray will answer questions and provide updates on human resources and health care topics at a meeting for faculty and staff. The event will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sept. 27 in Freeman Auditorium in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park.

The meeting also will be livestreamed at LiveEvents.psu.edu for community members at all Penn State campuses to view.

To help guide the conversation, faculty and staff members are invited to ask questions anonymously at the meeting or to send questions in advance to questions@psu.edu. The names of people who submit questions at the event and via email will not be shared publicly.

The meeting will cover changes to the University’s third-party administrators for medical and prescription drug benefits and the upcoming transition to the new Workday human resources and payroll system, among a variety of other human resources-related topics.

Supervisors are encouraged to allow employees with an interest in attending the meeting to join in person or watch via livestream.

Since 2015, the Town Hall meetings have provided opportunities for members of the Penn State community to receive updates on University initiatives, hear from administrative leaders about key issues, discover how decisions are made, ask questions and provide feedback. Town Halls are sponsored by Penn State Today and the University Staff Advisory Council.
