Penn Staters know about the convenience and security of LionCash+, the online, prepaid flexible account that makes on-and off-campus purchases safe and easy. Now, there’s another option for making online deposits to your LionCash+ account: the Discover Card.
It’s easy to add LionCash+ to your Penn State id+ card using a Discover, Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card. You can use LionCash+ at more than 300 locations both on and off campus statewide and enjoy its many benefits:
— It gives you buying power. LionCash+ is accepted at most restaurants, shops, and stores on and around Penn State campuses, including all 23 Penn State Bookstore locations. Whether you're buying books* for the semester, grabbing a bite to eat, making photocopies, or scoring a football jersey, LionCash+ lets you do it all with your id+ card.
— It’s safe. Your photo id+ card with LionCash+ is safer than carrying cash and more secure than non-photo debit or credit cards. If you report your id+ card lost or stolen, your funds are secure and available immediately when you get your replacement card.
— It saves you money. You can receive discounts at many participating locations every time you use LionCash+, including a 10 percent discount at most on-campus Food Services locations.
— It’s convenient. Using your Access Account User ID and password, you can check your balance, view your transaction history, deactivate a lost or stolen card, or make a deposit using a Discover, Visa, or MasterCard debit or credit card.
— It’s easy. Make a deposit any time of the day or night. Anyone – including family and friends – can make an online deposit from anywhere, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
— It’s protected. Active accounts remain open and carry forward from semester to semester and from year to year.
*LionCash+ cannot be used to rent books.
