Run for the Law 5K in Carlisle to benefit Public Interest Law Fund

Run for the Law, a 5K run and fun walk benefiting the Public Interest Law Fund (PILF) at Dickinson Law, will take place the morning of Saturday, Sept. 23, at Penn State’s Dickinson Law, Lewis Katz Hall, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to register online.

Race registration is $25 per walker and $35 per runner. Children ages 10 and under may participate at no charge. Net proceeds from the registration fees will benefit Dickinson Law’s Public Interest Law Fund, a student organization dedicated to promoting student interest and community involvement in the field of public interest law. PILF promotes its goals by sponsoring public interest events on campus to educate students about the rewarding career possibilities in public interest law and by raising funds to support Cherie M. Millage Summer Fellowships.

Check-in begins at 8 a.m.; race begins at 9 a.m. All registrants will receive a Run for the Law T-shirt. The course is USA Track & Field certified, and race registrant information will be submitted to Timber Hill Timing for official race results.
