New leaders named for Board of Trustees committees, subcommittees

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Mark Dambly, chair of the Penn State Board of Trustees, has announced trustee assignments for the board’s standing committees and subcommittees.

The seven committee chairs are William Oldsey, Committee on Academic Affairs and Student Life; Walter Rakowich, Committee on Audit and Risk; Keith Masser, Committee on Compensation; Robert Fenza, Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning; David Han, Committee on Governance and Long-Range Planning; Richard Dandrea, Committee on Legal and Compliance; and M. Abraham Harpster, Committee on Outreach, Development and Community Relations.

The following trustees also have been named to serve as vice chairs of the committees listed: Alice Pope, Academic Affairs and Student Life; Edward "Ted" Brown III, Audit and Risk; Kathleen Casey, Compensation; Mary Lee Schneider, Finance, Business and Capital Planning; Chris Hoffman, Governance and Long-Range Planning; Julie Anna Potts, Legal and Compliance; and David Kleppinger, Outreach, Development and Community Relations.

The subcommittee chairs are Robert Fenza, Subcommittee on Architect/Engineer Selection; Mary Lee Schneider, Subcommittee on Finance; Keith Masser, Subcommittee on Human Resources; Richard Dandrea, Subcommittee on Legal; and Edward "Ted" Brown III, Subcommittee on Risk.
