Nominations sought for outstanding Penn State Graduate School alumni

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Graduate School Alumni Society is accepting nominations at this time for three recognition awards — the Early Career Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Humanitarian Award.

The deadline for nominations is Sept. 30. All of the award recipients will be honored at the annual Graduate School Alumni Society Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus.

  • The Early Career Award recognizes Graduate School Alumni who have demonstrated exceptional success in their chosen field. Eligibility is limited to Graduate School Alumni (master’s or doctoral degrees) who received their graduate degree within the 10 years preceding the deadline for this year’s nominations. Submit your nominations.  
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Graduate School Alumni who have achieved exceptional success in their profession and have demonstrated loyalty to the University and Alumni Association. All alumni of the Graduate School at Penn State who hold a master’s or doctoral degree are eligible for consideration. Submit your nominations
  • The Humanitarian Award recognizes Graduate School Alumni who have made a positive societal impact on the welfare of humankind. Eligibility is limited to Graduate School Alumni (master’s or doctoral degrees) who received their graduate degree 10 years or more prior to the deadline for this year’s nominations. Submit your nominations.
