Penn State Educational Office Professionals recognize outstanding staff members

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Educational Office Professionals (PSEOP) recognized the contributions of exceptional staff members at an awards ceremony May 18 at the Nittany Lion Inn.

The Outstanding Office Professional Award was awarded to one University Park staff member and one Commonwealth Campus staff member. The University Park Outstanding Office Professional Award was presented to Brenda Nolan, administrative support assistant for the Cyber, Data, and Image Science Division in the Applied Research Lab. The Commonwealth Campus Outstanding Office Professional Award was awarded to Susan Hafer, administrative support assistant for admissions at Penn State Berks. The award recognizes an administrative support employee who has provided exceptional meritorious service on behalf of Penn State.

The Lisa Brungart Leadership Award was awarded to Pamela Stauffer, manager of financial and administrative services in the Department of Electrical Engineering at University Park. The award is named in memory of Lisa Brungart, a PSEOP member who passed away in 2008, and recognizes a PSEOP member who exhibits exemplary performance, shows outstanding spirit and teamwork, and carries out the duties of their position with integrity and dedication.
