UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Bug Camp for Kids, an educational day camp for 8- to 11-year-olds, will give students the opportunity to observe and collect insects and participate in laboratory exercises to study a broad range of biological, ecological and environmental topics.
The camp is taught by faculty, staff and graduate students from Penn State's Department of Entomology. Students will learn about the basics of entomology; creating an insect collection; beneficial insects; pollinators; aquatic arthropods; and insects in culture.
