This week, we recognize four Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form.

This week, it's thank you to:

Michelle Aungst, in the College of Engineering, whose nominator wrote: "Michelle is one of my go to people in Engineering. She is always quick to reply to any e-mail or phone call and is always pleasant. Her tireless help during the first rounds of using LionPATH 'update academics' and 'update campus' has been priceless! I and the students I advise can't thank her enough!"

Katina Moten, with Penn State Harrisburg, whose nominator wrote: "A mountain of gratitude to Katina Moten for her unwavering commitment to providing a listening ear and valuable kernels of wisdom to students and many others in her sphere of influence. After receiving a dose of her compassionate encouragement, your mantra to persist becomes... "We are!"

Beth Brown, with the College of the Liberal Arts, whose nominator wrote: "When an adviser was on leave, Beth willingly and with a smile stepped in to cover for her. All the while, Beth was still doing her primary job and balancing both with ease!  Beth is often one of the staff members on our team to go the extra mile and we are so fortunate to work with her!"

Lydia Vandenbergh, with the Sustainability Institute, whose nominator wrote: "Lydia's passion for sustainability and commitment to teaching goes beyond her job description. She always provides support and guidance for the University-wide Green Teams and engages and motivates Penn State employees at the Green Bag Lunch presentations and Green Paws programs!"
