Penn State alumni trustee election now open

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The election process for the 2017 election of trustees by alumni opened today, April 10, and runs until May 4.

Ballots for the trustee election will be sent electronically to Penn State alumni beginning on April 10. Additionally, biographical information and position statements for each candidate are available on a “Meet the Candidates” page by visiting https://trustees.psu.edu.

Alumni who have already requested and received a ballot for the nomination phase of the election will automatically receive the election ballot. There is no need to request a ballot again. Those who did not participate in the nomination phase and would like to receive the election ballot may request one at https://trustees.psu.edu/2017election/index.html.

Due to the volume of emails being sent, there may be a delay in receiving the email containing ballot credentials. Those who experience a delay should check their spam or junk mail folders, as individual settings on personal email accounts or from email providers may potentially block the email transmission. The ballot email will be sent from psuelections@votenet.com. Those who do not receive the ballot within 48 hours should request one by visiting https://trustees.psu.edu/2017election/index.html.

Ballot requests will be processed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Please allow a 24-hour turnaround time for processing of the ballot request.

All online voting must be completed by the close of the election at 9 a.m. EST May 4.
