Direct access to ANGEL content ending in October

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The last day faculty, staff and students can access ANGEL course content on their own will be Oct. 31, 2017. Beginning Nov. 1, access to ANGEL courses will be available by request on a first-come, first-served basis. There may be a delay in fulfilling requests, depending on the number received, so faculty and staff who have courses in ANGEL are urged to export a copy of their ANGEL content and/or move them to Canvas now.

Faculty who need assistance moving content to Canvas have several options:

Oct. 31 is also the last day for faculty, staff and students to directly access ANGEL Groups’ content. Box, Yammer, Sites at Penn State, and Qualtrics are four alternatives that ANGEL Group users should consider as a replacement.

The last day to teach in ANGEL is Aug. 11. Students who have requested a deferred grade for a course taught in ANGEL will need to work with their faculty member to make sure they have access to necessary course materials during the deferral period.

Details on requesting access to ANGEL content after Oct. 31 will be provided at a later date.
