UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Laverne Cox has rescheduled her Distinguished Speaker Series lecture. Her lecture, organized by the Student Programming Association (SPA) lectures committee, will be held at 8 p.m. on April 20 in Eisenhower Auditorium.

The hour-long documentary explored the lives of seven transgender youth from across the country and their determination to lead their lives as the people they are meant to be. Laverne was the host and executive producer of the groundbreaking documentary, which won a Daytime Emmy Award and was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award.

Tickets to see Cox will be available starting April 6 to Penn State students with a valid Penn State University Park Photo ID. There will be a 2‑ticket max per ID.
