Sustainability Council accepting nominations for the Tree Award through April 10

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Student Sustainability Advisory Council is accepting student nominations for their annual Student Sustainability Leadership Tree Award.

Founded by the Council in 2012, the Tree Award honors students who are making a difference in sustainability leadership at Penn State or in the local community.

The Sustainability Council welcomes nominations of undergraduate and graduate students. Students are invited to self-nominate if desired.

Honorees will be recognized during Earth Week 2017. Each student selected will have a tree planted in his or her honor on the University Park campus.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Sustainability Council's website. Completed nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, April 10.
