HERSHEY, Pa. — The GIANT Food Stores I Care for Kids Radiothon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Children’s Hospital will broadcast from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4, on I105 WIOV-FM. The event will broadcast live from the Turkey Hill Experience at 301 Linden Street in Columbia, Lancaster County.

During the event, I105 radio personalities Murph, Casey Allyn, Val Baldwin and Rich Creeger will interview patients treated at Penn State Children’s Hospital and their families. Donors can contribute to the radiothon at the Turkey Hill Experience, online at CMNHershey.org or by calling 1-877-543-7365 during the event.

The goal of the radiothon is to raise $127,000 to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and support patient programs and research initiatives. Donors who contribute $20 a month or make a one-time $240 gift will receive a shirt designed by Children’s Hospital heart patient Julia Shaubach from Paradise, Lancaster County. When Julia was an infant, she had two heart surgeries at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Now 13, she received a pacemaker in January.
