CARLISLE, Pa. — Penn State Law Review (PSLR) will present “Breach of the Public (Dis)Trust: Political Corruption and Government Ethics in 2017” on Friday, March 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Apfelbaum Family Courtroom and Auditorium, Lewis Katz Hall, Dickinson Law, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The full program will be simulcast to University Park.
Each year, the Symposium brings together stakeholders in the legal community — including practitioners, academics, jurists, and law students — for scholarly dialogue about forthcoming or recently published articles.
PSLR is a student-run journal that publishes four times a year and serves the legal community by presenting analysis and commentary on relevant topics. Each issue contains articles by leading professors, judges and practitioners from around the country. In addition, PSLR features student-written material in each issue. Beyond the four printed issues and annual symposium, PSLR hosts scholarly dialogues for authors with forthcoming or recently published articles, and maintains an online companion, Penn Statim.
This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 4.5 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure credit and 1.0 hour of ethics credit. Attorneys seeking credit in states other than Pennsylvania will be provided with a uniform certificate of attendance to self-report to their bars.
Those seeking CLE credit from outside the Dickinson Law community may register for a fee of $30, which includes 5.5 hours of CLE credit, program materials, breakfast, and lunch.
